    You would probably get better feedback in you went to the "what should I buy section" of the forum and fill out the standard form. (what you want, your budget, etc.)

    Without much info it's hard to efficiently help you.

    no, no, I already posted in there and this was recommended to me. I'm just getting more feedback here. like, is this a good deal if i want to play some newer games at decent specs, such as Crysis, Assassin's creed 1/2, etc.

    I would just save another 400bucks and get a NEW best buy model G73.

    maybe I should have stated my budget... this computer is pretty much in my budget's higher ranges. I don't have a great source of money, hoping to get a job this summer so I can get at least 1500 bucks. so comps over about 750-800 are out of my range, I'm afraid...

    Then it's a good deal.
    This laptop will play CRYSIS pretty well if you lower the settings and AC-1 and 2 should be no problem.
