I know there are hundreds of posts about the g series and the heat but i just have a quick question i couldn't find on here.

When watching shows off netflix or hulu how hot does your gpu get?

mine is hitting 63 and i just want to know if that is normal for streaming video. I dont believe it was getting that hot a week ago when i was watching netflix so i want to make sure that 63 isn't a problem

mine constantly fluctuates between around 47C to 65C on idle, so i think 63 is pretty normal :)

Mine idles at 49-54C and can hit up to 70C w/o gaming, so I'd say you're in the clear.

please remember that these temps are all relative to ambient temperature... if you have a higher ambient (room) temperature, your cpu/gpu temps will be higher too...

    It depends.

If your GPU is going up to Extra clocks, which I suspect it is, 63C would be very normal.

To check core/memory clocks, get GPU-Z and go to the second tab while running whatever program you're using.
