So how do we make sure that we're getting a good SKU#?

Oh. Oh. Exactly what I wanted to hear. The W3J in NA uses XP Pro doesn't it so we'll get a free upgrade? It's funny the article saids that XP Home has different option for Home Basic and Home Premium, but they don't say whether XP Pro gets Home Basic or Home Premium free. They'll probably just skimp to Home Basic.

The other option I was hoping for was that since the W3J uses XP Pro anyways and Vista Business is the XP Pro replacement, maybe ASUS will just offer the W3J with Vista Business when it launches in November.

Yeah, A8Js is supposed to come with XP Pro... Now, I wonder, since the A8Js is supposed to hit these shores right around Oct 15, were they shipped with the new XP SKU #'s, since they knew it would hit the stores after Oct 15? Or, is it the reseller's responsibility to provide the SKU #'s? Or, will we be tough out of luck???

Hmm, is the Vista-upgrade offer only valid to NA? Or is ti worldwide? (FYI I'm in Australia)
