    "Dear Valued ASUS Customer,

Due to the new release of Intel Core 2 Duo steppings, the only way to resolve your particualr issue is to rework the MB on the notebook to accomodate the difference in voltages with the CPUs it was originally designed for and the current batches of CPUs being released on the market.

Please call us toll free at 1888 678 3688 opt 3 to arrange for a RMA service.

    Best Regards,

The subject is incorrect, the MB rework is to fix BSOD when click Game Mode, they can't guaranteed if MB rework will 100% fix it, they are considering if they should officially announce that Game Mode is not working on some CPUs, they already have the beta version of Turbo Gear with Game mode and overclocking mode removed, the beta version only has Standard mode and battery mode.

The incompatible RAM is still incompatible after MB rework.

gaming mode works fine for me, only OC mode does not.

Asus online tech report has problems. This is what I go for my overheating GPU.

"Try updating the BIOS if the version was outdated, make sure User Defaults is loaded after a successful BIOS flash"

When I first called for my non working (well, I broke it) VGA, the guy at the phone was like, wait, wtf, you took your notebook apart????

And the email for nonworking vga was-> please check if you have a video card, it does not come with the notebook.

f07 revision still has the same ram compatibility but works just fine when the ram is right as all the versions before it. in standard mode if you get bsod test your ram, if ram passes then you should get a replacement. If ram fails.,..... do not test in overclock mode!
