This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    does Asus plan on producing a tablet notebook within the near future?

    No, I don't think so. Asus' last stab at a tablet came almost 3 years ago. I'm sort of glad they didn't go down that road yet becasue they are far too conservative and so far the tablet's cliental aren't the usual Asus owners......

    Keep in mind... Asus is into power, form and function... In the next year if technology allows it and tablets are bumped up to that next notch.. expect to see something from Asus again. Right now their development in something more tablet based is in the 2nd coming of their digimatrix home theater system.... creating almost a remote control for home automation ... that's also at least a webpad......

    We'll see more this year.
