I know this is a really hard question to answer but -
Does anyone know (ahem, Justin) if any kind of changes are coming down the pike for the v6v? Things like, s-video output? or anything else?

I know this for a fact, but nothing is concrete. There will be another model at least in the V series between mid November and mid December....... or at least that's what it looks like now. They could certainly turn into next year as we're all aware, but nothing before that.

What I don't know is what it'll be. After all the V6 is actually the first model in this new line of ultra thin systems....... So I can't comment on whether it'll be a refresh of this system or say a widescreen version which would certainly have a different model number.

Other than that, the only thing whispered about the unit is that they are trying to fit a 128mb x700 in it. Right now they say it's not possible, but by the end of the year it will be..... You're looking at 5-6 months at best though.

Haha... i was just about to come back and say that I'm not really ready to talk about "the v6 refresh".... as it could very well be a completely different notebook and be called the V8 or whatever...... plus, anything over a month can usually have 25% added to it's ETA....... so a month away, add a week...... 6 months away, add a month and a half.. It's the best way to look at things.
