    are there any up and coming laptop from asus besides the g51, g60 or g71 ???

    perhaps one that use a single 4870 ???

    Nope, the G51 and G71 have just been "newly" released so don't expect gaming laptops to appear until around the summer of 2010

    I wonder if they will do something with the W90vp chassis. Maybe release a new version or variant with a single 4870. Asus seems to reuse chassis designs a lot.

    I would really like to know what they will do with the g60 for north america. I have 2 weeks to find out or I'll get the g51vx. Not enough time i think.

    G60 is the same chasis as a G51 with a lcd bezel to fit a 16 inch screen.

    From pic's I've seen, the G60 doesn't have any side lights. I hope Asus can give some software to turn the lights off on the g51 if someone wants too.

    It's in Australian dollars. It roughly equates to $2000US, which is pretty ridiculous.

    And the G71 from that site is $3000AUD. The highest spec model costs $5100AUD, and it has a QX9300, a 9700M GT, and 6GB RAM.
