Have anyone reinstalled a clean winxp on your new a8js?

I've been deciding whether or not to reinstall clean WinXP on a8js for
more efficient boot time and performance. Or is that not worth to hassle?

My dell lt610c have shorter boot time than a8js. dell boots into winxp desktop cpu stop utilizing in around 1minute. A8js takes 3minutes.

So my question is it worth it to reinstall clean winxp and install
    drivers and wireless on a8js?

    a8js specs:
    CPU:T7200
    RAM:2GB 667MHZ
    VGA:GF7700GO
    HD: Seagate 100GB 7200rpm
Start-up extra software: intel wireless, mcafee enterprise, zonealarm,
asus utilities removed, disabled lots of boot programs
    Idle process: 44+

    dell latitude 610c(old):
    CPU: P3 M 1.2G
    RAM:512MB PC100
    HD: seagate 20GB 4200rpm
Start-up extra software: trendnet wireless software, kaspersky, zonealarm
    Idle process:30-

Yes, people have done it, its personal preference to do so, some may uninstall certain programs, partition the drive and convert NTFS. Use the search button to look further information regarding this topic.

I have already uninstalled norton, most of asus preinstalled utilities, disabled lots of startup programs, and have seen the optimizing guides for laptops in this forum. After that still 3minute bootup time.
