What issue are you having with your power4gear? I'm still using the stock utility and haven't found any problems with it.

Did you restart your laptop after you've hit the turbo button?

    hmm ok.
just heard problems about graphics switching and stuff after hibernate.
as well as wondering whether it would fix the turbo problem.

this is an asus ul30vt-x1 by the way, might not have all the drivers that the a1 might have. all my drivers seem to be from around september

    Ok, just checking :p

CPUID shows 1.7GHz when I'm in turbo mode.
It shouldn't matter if it's the X1 or A1 model; both should have the same pre-installed bloatware.

What version of P4G hybrid are you using? Just for reference, I'm on 1.1.24
