I just got my M50Sa last night so I've only had it for about 12 hours. I setup everything last night and everything was fine. When I turned on my computer today and logged in with the fingerprint reader, I was given this error...

    "asghost.exe - Application Error
The instruction at 0x01700412 referenced memory at 0x00000004. The memory could not be read.
Click on OK to terminate the program."

Even though I get this error it still logs me in fine. Does anybody have any idea what this is and what's causing it. I googled it and came up with this...

    "Windows errors related to asghost.exe?
asghost.exe is a process belonging to Cognizance Identity and Access Management. Cognizance Identity and Access Management is a security solution designed on the concept of the unified user identity."

On one of the sister forums, someone had an issue like that and just renamed the file to get around the issue and that the fingerprint reader still worked.

I would say you might want to check ASUS' website to see if there is an update for the fingerprint reader.

Do you point on one of these ASUS utilities that came pre-installed?

Well the problem has stopped being a problem on it's own. I'm not sure why or how...
