    ASUS FLICKIN SUCKS!!

]~I will state that as this moment on I will NEVER buy any ASUS product EVER for the remaining duration of my life!~

I currently own ASUS P4P800 Deluxe P4 3.0GHz and a recent ASUS Z70VA/ Mv6va LAPTOP! I have had nothing but problems with ASUS products and also customer service is very bad! I owned mty ASUS Z70va Laptop for 3 weeks and Have already formated 3 times! Currently formating right now and the ASUS laptop will posted for ebay to sell ASAP as well as my desktop!

The ASUS Z70va will NOT boot up any XP/ MEDIA or VISTA!??!?!?!?!? But it will boot up WINDOWS 2000??? WTF. Therefore I have to install Win2K first and then upgrade to XP or etc????

Overall enough is enough I have supported ASUS for many years but today 4:31am day after Civic holiday aug 7th Will kill any ties with ASUS!!!!

*****I WILL NEVER BUY ANY ASUS PRODUCT AGAIN!!!*******

If u are happy with their product and services good for u, but I am clearly not and I will pass on the negative feeback. When I see the ASUS name it SICKENS me and i am not impressed at all! ASUS name Puts a bitter taste in my mouth.....

Some of the ASUS motherboards do have problems, but it seems that with less that 15 minutes and a BIOS upgrade all of your issues will be fixed, that is, considering that your problem is not a software only issue.
Chill dude, in the very worst case you have gotten a lemon for a laptop, and you can get lemons with every brand.

YUP! Besides ASUS Z70VA is quite old. If you look around, Asus liekly has the most satisfied customers, after apple. That should tell you something. And IF your laptop doesn't work, return it. Even if you did buy it used. It's clearly not working, so it is within your right to get a refund or a replacement.

While I am upset with the Asus battery issues that are running around some V seires computers right now, this is a terrible reason to not like Asus. I guarantee any other brand you pick could do the same thing. Your computer is likely what we call damaged, so don't be irritated at that. By the way, Asus support is far greater than any other I have ever used.

I like assus. All my computers have been on asus.

The Description of you problem sounds more like a software one than hardware imho.

You think the fact that both your mainboard and laptop are over 3 years old and discontinued almnost 3 years ago has anything to do with it? I have a feeling that most of the people here can figure out your issues within 10 minutes. My 20 year old car sucks too. I ve had nothing but problems with it. you think age has something to do with it?

The laptop itself looks nice, thou the inner part might be outdated.
