    asus G71 Vista home premium language

    Hi!
    Want to order asus G71 but the vista home premium version is in dutch not in english!
    are there any chance to do a fresh install with an genuine english dvd of vista home premium and the serial that is sticked to the back of the laptop or it will not work saying that the serial is invalid??

    You can just use the system restore disk install a fresh copy of the OS. Make sure you choose English this time! :p

    Yes that would work... the options I'm aware of from the restore DVD are chinese/english/spanish

    It depends on the location, so e.g., in the Netherlands you would get NL/EN/FR or something similar.

    But it (almost?) always includes English, indeed.

    Also it may even be the case that you select the language on the first Vista boot -- without even needing to reinstall. AFAIK that was the case on the A8He Vista notebook that I bought some time ago.
