Hello,
I have a zenbook prime ux31a which can be an wonderful laptop if there is not so many little but tiring issues.
For a couple of weeks I've been experiencing some problems with the touchpad : the CPU core temp increases and stays at 65°C with all applications closed and the multitouch gestures are delaying about a few secondes.
If i want to scroll up or down with the touchpad on firefox for exemple, the two fingers appear and stay on the icon notification but the scrolling is done a few secondes later. Moreover on resource manager, the task asusTPCenter takes all resources from the CPU. I have installed smartgesture 1.0.32 and the Bios 212.
This issue appears sometimes to time and may be due to smart gesture 1.0.32 because i have not this problem with 1.0.24. I've tried to downgrade smartgesture to 1.0.24 but it doesn't work (maybe cauz of ATK package)
Is anyone having encountered the same issue as mine ?

It seems it's the same issue on this thread : http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus/684671-asus-ux32vd-touchpad-issue.html
So, i've uninstalled asus smartgesture because killing AsusTPCenter sure decreases core temp and CPU overcharging.
I've installed elantech drivers, configure multitouch gestures, so i will see if the touchpad work correctly. I'm pretty sure asus smartgesture sux with some recent bios version or anything else.
