    hello everyone,

I have a question regarding the silver paint finish of asus a8j series, i bought this notebook recently and i'd like to ask old users about the paint job,
does the paint fades in the palm rest and touchpad area after prolong use?
because im planning to cover it with frisket film if it does fade.

i want to preserve the paint finish of my new notebook, because my old acer notebook looks ugly after a year of use the paint looks darker on the palm rest area. thanks in advance :) ..

I agree if you constantly leave you palms/wrist on the palm rest it will fade. Btw stamar what type of film do you use?
