Hi, I just got an asus bluetooth mouse that came with my notebook and I am curious if when I use the usb cable to plug in my mouse, is it actually Charging the batteries??? and if so, what color lights up if the charging is done???
the manual doesn't have anything about the battery..
thanks

Which mouse and from which notebook?
Perhaps a link? -
I've got an asus bluetooth mouse from a w7j.
I had the same confusion as you did and realised that you can pull the hatch off from the top to put in AAA batteries. It will not work without batteries even if you connected the USB cable. -
Yes the USB cable does charge the batteries. Whilst the battery is charging, the scroll wheel glows an orangy-yellow. I normally have the cable plugged into the W7J whilst on AC power. I dont think it tells you if it has been fully charged all that happens is the orange light goes out. Sorry I cant remember exactly what happens as I am charging it right now.
