No, unfortunately, ASUS UK support is not good. In fact most of the reports that we get are very bad.

See my thread "A Survey on the Problems with ASUS Notebooks and Support", linked from the Info Booth, for details.

100% agree with E.B.E.. The customer support (no. 08701208340) is absolutely terrible.
I was trying to find out about what I can upgrade on my M70-VN laptop without taking the PC to service centre and after exchanging more than 6 emails I received completely different information from the two technicians (e.g. one is telling me my warrenty would void if I switch to vista 64bit and the other tell me it is fine!) I got so confused and decided to call them.
Now I find out their customer support is actually not based in UK (now base in Holland apparently). Not only they haven't solve my query they don't believe in what I have told them and ask me to send them the conversations...

I sent my Girlfriends F3J in last year for a new motherboard, I know one of the local Asus resellers in London, and even though I purchsed the laptop via the states, he packaged it up and sent it off.

Don't know if that made a difference but everything was fine, but from what i've heard that is more an exception than the norm, yeah UK service is not that great, personaly I have not had a problem and also have a W3J and several of my work mates have a U6, A8, 3xM50s and an F8's which are all going strong.
