    Ive been looking at getting a eee pc 1000 now for a couple of days. Ive been looking around for wuite some time and cant seem to find a answer.

    Does anybody know where i could find a asus eee pc 1000 bare bones model. If its even possible to get at this time.

    The reason why im asking is because im planning on putting in a 500gb hd, 2gb ram, and maybe a higher res lcd if i can find one.

    Why?? i dont know, fun.

    It would just be a big money saver if there was. So i didnt have all the unneeded parts laying around.

    Asus ships all EEEs in the US as Ensemble (complete) units. We don't even have the option to purchase them direct as barebones.
