    firstly BIG KUDOS to Irathi and Adolfotregosa for your threads
    mucho helpfull

    i have intsalled rmclock and disabled the thermal monitor 1 n 2 as posted also i have removed the tape covering my fan holes to aid cooling

    what other settings in rmclock should i be looking at changing??
    also is there a prog that can display my gdu and cpu temp on screen while im playing games ???
    i mainly use my g1 for single player games but also some online play like eve online and exsteel so any additional help in getting the best from my laptop ??

    also on the cooling mod you did Irathi what parts did you use to make that fan cover looks awsome mate and i would like to do something simular
    anyway sorry for all the questions

    Welcome. Perhaps a better place to have posted this is in the Owners' Lounge.

    For a RMClock tutorial, see my Tips and Tricks or any dedicated tutorial on undervolting from the Guides forum.

    To display temp during gaming: you can do that on the OLED, check the "Customizing the G1S OLED thread". Best solution IMHO.

    You will find links to the various stuff mentioned above in the Info Booth (link in sig).

    Wait let me get this straight... you read those threads and hence read about the problems with the G1S and you still bought one? ***?

    Anyway.. make sure you watch the temps around the HDD and RAM area's now that you have removed those tapes. It is not so much a problem if you are using a notebook cooler.

    no i allready had the gs1s before i found this site was looking for a way to customise the oled :eek: at the time
    as for a notebook cooler that is next on my list :D
