    i am from Canada and planning on going to USA to buy the Asus g1s-x1 for 1599 from bestbuy.
    So i wanted ask you guys is this laptop a got deal for me to go to USA to buy it.

    also in the Canada best buy and future shop have pretty ****ty laptops and the good ones cost $1800 and more.

    Also how much is the best buy global warranty.

    It's decent but the BB G1s lacks a few things. Do a search on BB and G1s, there are threads around with tons of info.

    Its good but the one u can order online is better.
    G1S-A1 is .2ghz faster, comes with a decent bag, a nice mouse, and lightsribe. Plus you can get it cheaper, or about the same price because you have to pay tax at BB, and only shipping elsewhere.
    It is also an 8600GT Gddr3
    it is the FASTEST 15.4" notebook as far as gaming goes.

    The X1 is DDR3 and includes Lightscribe as well. The only difference is the 200mhz.

    Edit: The system comes with a 8600M GT DDR3. I am posting on it right now.

    The warranty is different too. Best Buy warranty is one year and I dont think its global either.
