    asus g50 vt x5 charger making strange sound

    Since this morning my charger has been making a buzz that i can only hear when putting the charger next to my ear, why is this happening?, should i get a new charger or solve the problem in another way?

    Transformers can do that sometimes, in my experience, and they continue to function normally.

    I'm not enough of an EE to know whether this has any potential risk to continued use, however.
