    Hey guys

There's something wrong with my Turbo Gear Extreme I think. I can't click onto the overclock mode. And when I click into the settings it just gives me a grey box with nothing on it.
Can anybody point me to a solution please?

    Thanks a lot!

    1) Restart the computer
    2) Once back in windows, click on TurboGear.
    3) Before doing anything, click on the Settings button to change your overclock percentage.
    4) Now click ok and then select the Overclock button and say yes. You should be good to go.

If problem still exist, download and reinstall Turbogear from Asus support website...

Try reinstalling the program from your drivers disc.
I had this happen with my creative suite and needed to reinstall to enable some hidden and lost features

does the overclocking option work on the G71Gx-A1? It seems to be disabled for me all the time.

@mk1freak did it work with your quad core...cos I was under the impression they diabled it for quad core processors.

Turbo Gear Extreme on G71Gx does not support Quad Core CPU.

Ok I've uninstalled and downloaded the newest one from ASUS and I still cannot select the overclock mode in turbogear extreme. The drop down screen for settings is still blank with nothing to select!!
    WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT?

I'm not completely sure about this, as i dont have my G71 anymore with me, but when i wanted to have the memory at 800mhz i had to disable the turbogear from bios, as a consequence of this, the memory went back to factory selected 800mhz but also the turbo gear program had the OC feature disabled. So you might wanna check your bios n see if you its enable there.
