    considering this laptop. wondering if its good for the price and if i should bite. can you guys comment? friend needs to get rid of it. i'm currently on an acer 5739g w/ P8700 & 240m graphics card. any help is appreciated thanks!

    I'd say its a good deal and go sell your laptop and recoup some money.

    Ive heard raid doesn't work on the G73. But thats a different model so it may not mean much. I imagine that it's dependent on the southbridge.

    I got a g72 for $750 and it's awesome. I replaced the dvdrw with bdrom combo drive. Win 7 is great too. Sold my upgraded g50vt to my son. The g72 screen us much better.
