Sounds like the inverter might be the problem. If there is no inverter than you will have to replace with the same lcd panel. Regarding about making your screen brighter all you have to do on your keyboard is to press Fn and F6.

I just checked a video of how to replace the lcd panel. Looks like it the circuit on the back of the lcd panel. Could be that the lcd panel you have is defective have you tried another lcd panel.

If you have tried changing all the obvious part and still no back light, could be a part on the motherboard that is preventing the back light to come on. Have you connected all the screws and tried turning it on already with still no back light? If your unit is still under warranty send it in to have the motherboard replaced.

When I was watching a video of someone replacing the lcd screen they made sure the screen was screwed on then applied power to see if it would turn on. Can you please give me the part number of the lcd screen you purchased. I will check to see what we use compared to the one you have.

I was looking at someone elses Serial number and looks like it's LTN156AT24-P09. Not sure if that makes a difference. If you can give me your serial number I can the exact model for your lcd screen that you need.

I am having the same issue with a ASUS laptop K53E. Was their ever a fix for this issue?
The laptop is no longer under warranty and I have spent several hours trying to fix this with no luck at ALL. Very frustrating...

Any help would be very much appreciated.
