okay fist off i decided to ask the asus community here as i would get more input from users as compared to the what should i buy thread.

so onto what i'm looking for.
I would like a laptop 13" screen or less, with a decent battery life (4 or greater). What i want to do is part of a fiendish project, but i can tell you this much; i would prefer it if the hinge/screen setup were easy to mod to be able to either rotate or flip, similar to that on tablets (i know this is had to inmagine. But the biggest factor to me is power! dual core of some form is pretty much required and dedicated graphics, basically so it can game. Optical drive would be nice but not if it compromises my other requirements.

Looking at the 1201n with dual core atom and ion gpu, is there anything really faster in the same size category? small and light area of notebooks and gpus are new to me so i dont reall have much of an idea.

Modding a normally hinged screen to rotate and flip? I really don't see how that could be done by an end-user... and even if it could, it would definitely by easier to get a tablet PC in the first place...
