    Hi all,

First post here, looks like a nice place!

I've installed windows xp on my lappy over the vista and sometimes when I come out of hibernate mode, I get no image. I have tried making it brighter (I think I'm going to turn off that brightness utility) but it doesn't help. Anyone else running into this?

    Thanks!

You should've posted this in the main Asus section :D

And I have no idea. I always use sleep instead of hibernate. Im guessing its one of those things that wont work nicely when you install XP on your laptop.

You could indeed try standing by + resuming when you don't get an image out of hibernation.

This will probably be a problem of the ACPI drivers, of the video drivers, or of the combination thereof. You could try updating / reinstalling these drivers.

And yeah, moving to main ASUS section.

OK, thanks guys. I reinstalled my video drivers as I was noticing another issue, and the hibernate looks like its working again.

    Thanks!
