is it possible to upgrade the banias 1.4 Ghz in my m6n to a 1.8 Ghz dothan processor? Di have to get a 400 mhz version, or does a 533 Mhz version also work?

It may probably has an older chipset, which doesn't support the 533 MHz processer. If there is a BIOS update on the Asus website, then it may support the 7X5 version of Dthan processers. There is a small chance of this, but there is a chance. Hope this helps.

I think you'll have to stick with the 400 MHz Dothan... since the M6N series has the Intel i855 chipset whereas you'd need the Intel i915 chipset to run a 533 MHz Dothan...
