    i just purchased an Asus a53e-xa2 laptop from amazon.com. when i registered with asus the model came up k53e. does anyone know why or what the difference between a53e and k53e is?

    The A and K models with the same number are generally the same save for some minor details like the exact CPU and things like bluetooth or model of wireless cards.
