Hello to all first of all sorry for my english because i'm Italian :)
On my laptop asus n73 which has two slots for HD, some months ago I installed a Samsung 840 SSD pro and everything went perfectly.
last week, out of the blue, I tried to turn on the computer and the lights of power were working but does not enter even into bios . Black screen locked. I try to do several attempts and I find that putting a HD instead of the SSD everything is ok.
I call the support of the SSD supplier and they kindly changed the component.
The SSD was replaced but unfortunately nothing changed
The SSD is formatted with win 7 original ( I had to put in an external bay because It was not visible from the laptop ) . I checked with Magician and everything is ok. I checked the alignment and it is ok , but it always the same story:
if I put the SSD alone (both in bay 1 or in bay 2 ) the pc does not start ( the lights of power etc ) but you can not even get into bios
if I put a HD with Win installed in bay 1 and the SSD in the bay 2 the boot is perfect from bay 1 and if I make the switch in bios , also perfectly ifrom the win 7 on the SSD and everything works
if the SSD is in Bay 1 no way to start also even there is the HD with SO in bay 2

i do not know anymore what to do , I made a thousand attempts , but nothing to do. how can this be possible? There may be some physical problem in the attack Sata bay 1 ? but if this is true why from HD it will start?
If someone can figure out what's going on or can suggest a few more tests to do it thank you so much right now
as further info BIOS on Laptop is already updated at the last one (2011) and the same for SSD firmware

thanks a lot in advance and have a good day
