    asus net4 switch wireless connection? what and why

    what is the purpose of this asus net4 switch wirless network connection. It doesn`t seem to do anything but hang in the task bar, can it be removed safely without problems? if so how, thanks

    I think it allows you to switch between different network configurations. Eg. Office and home. I've never used it either, haven't found much use for it. Don't see why it can't be removed safely.

    never mind, I got it off my task bar..anyways the asus forum seems bit lacking lately on replies for questions from people in the know... :mad:

    I dont have this feature on my lappie thus Im guessing its a new app that ASUS has made...perhaps to tide users over untill vista hits.
    From my limited search so far only the W2 series seems to have this app. Thus its quite possible that many users dont have this app thus the reason for few answers...
    also maybe try waiting more then a few hours for a response before you start raging out members...it aint gonna win you any love.
