I was wondering, is there a special sticker that asus gives out to be put on authentic notebooks that are ordered from asus thus proves it's under the asus warranty?
I was looking at a couple of notebooks from asus between 2 stores that were close to each other. One advertised that they have the "sticker" that has "asus" and maybe something else on it that proves it's an authentic asus notebook and is fully under warranty and their notebooks cost about 15% more.
So i asked the other store about the sticker and the guy only said they come with boxes that have an asus logo on it.
So now i was searching on the net and found stickers for asus notebooks but they didnt show a picture. So i have nothing to compare with.
So i was wondering if the sticker thing is legit since what i found on the net kind of threw me off. And since these are barebones notebooks, anyone can say this is the real thing. So some help would be appreciated

i believe what ur reffering to is the sticker brand on the laptop
near the opening latch button... its basically a sticker that saids
"powererd by asus... hold on lemme check mine yup thats it"
oem asus barebones will not have it as they won't be considered
a major player for asus... meaning warrenty is with the store
and never with asus... but with this sticker it means u can deal
with asus if u want... u can call up tech support and dey'll help
u... dey will ask if u have a sticker or not... thats the difference
its basically saying this is asus authorized dealer... -
Ok, thx for clearing that up.
