dont know much about asus but i hooked the power supply to the board and when switch on the power supply i get the mother board green led but nothing else no fans on board or power supply. tried reseting cmos with battery pulled and pins moved but no joy. any thoughts on this would be apreciated. its a 460w power supply. and the board is not in the case is there a way to bye pass the power button on the case? thanks

Without a power switch on the case, jump the power switch header pins with a small flathead screwdriver to turn the system on and off.
