ok, im on the verge of getting a z70v... i just wanted to know if anyone has experianced the Asus warranty and support? Is it readily available and helpful like IBM's service or are you usually stuck waiting for hours just to get useless info from the tech dude? thanks (stories would be entertaining too I think)

First, if you're "on the verge" you should already know by now that the custom systems are not Asus' to warranty or support.... they are the individual dealers product. Personally, I believe that dealers should be able to offer a more intimate level of support with more personalized service than even Asus could provide. But for Asus' ensemble models they are certainly light years above any larger notebook company.
