i'm currently in the market for a asus u2e.
for those who already own the laptop, i have a few questions for you. does this notebook allow users to run photoshop without experiencing slow performance or lagging? does the battery life really live up to the advertised hours?

Also as for running vista on this laptop, does vista slow down the performance of the laptop?

as for the battery, check out this page and the whole review (if you haven't already):

seems like a solid umpc, i'm seriously considering getting one also, for working even. whether it's too small to use for longer periods (over 8h), is unclear.

oh and does anyone know how it goes these days with Vista, do these ship nowadays with the medium to downgrade to XP?

Its Vista only. Asus does supply an XP driver disk so you can install XP on it, but you can't dim the screen in XP. Its stuck at full brightness which drains the battery and drives you back into Vista's ugly arms.
