Hi all, I have a problem with my v6j dvd drive. I have a offical release dvd movie, and I put that disk in my v6j dvd drive, but it does not work. Then I backup the movie on my desktop computer and put that movie into my v6j dvd drive. However, this time it work. The backup dvd plays, but the offical one does not work. How do I fix this? thanks

Do you have your region codes set right? Can every other DVD work right? Do you have the latest drivers? Do CDs work right?

I am on the same version, I haven't had trouble with it. So, its all official DVDs, or is it just the one?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the DVD drive? That might work.

If you uninstall the drive, Windows will find it when you restart your computer (which you should do immediately), then use the driver from the Asus website.
