    asus w5f keyboard problem

    After using my laptop with external keyboard for a few months, i noticed that my laptop's spacebar key had turned into a "touch button".
    You don't have to push it, it reacts if you just touch it lightly (sometimes when you just look at it...)

    I'm sure I haven't spilled anything on it. Do you have any idea what is wrong?

    Perhaps there has been dirt/dust accumulation under it, try either using canned air to clean it(place notebook on side opened), or remove keyboard and clean it that way.

    That's odd.... if you've been using it with the laptop's screen up instead of an external monitor, I could see quite a bit of dust build up, but given the throw of each one of the keys, that would be quite a bit of build up, especially under only one key. Blow it out and see what happens.
