    ok so i had to RMA my g51j for some harddrive issues, but it wants me to send it to .=1171 Montague Expressway , Milpitas, CA 95035 this is someplace called bizcom electronics why did it make me send it there. last time i dealed with asus they made me send it to fremont, CA . and when i try to look at the repair status inquiry it says system cannot locate records of your inquiry. And according to fedex they recived the laptop on the 3rd of may


    edit: ok nevermind i did the repair status inquiry and only put the RMA and it worked , says Waiting-[WB1] Wait for Material/Spare Parts , sorry i jumped the gun was too worried :p. but is this a new repair facility?

    This is the first that I've heard Asus has asked to RMA a notebook to Bizcom.

    Out of curiosity, does your RMA number start with USA1, USA2 or some other alphanumeric prefix?

    Asus needs to improve their warranty services by offering in home services you know having techs come to you to fix it.

    sorry i dont have access to a computer these days so i couldnt respond but the rma starts with USG

    edit: also i forgot to put but they made me do this thing over a return service through fedex which didnt let me put my return address will they send it to me through the address i have on the asus member site?

    That's because ASUS has recently moved their headquarters (well, by recently I mean 3 years ago), and their repair center in Fremont is now mostly handling components repairs.

    I believe they outsourced their notebook repairing operation to Bizcom, which is a subsidiary of Compel Inc (the 2nd largest notebook OEM in the world).
