    Hi all i was looking into upgrading my laptop screen and i bump into this forum in the meantime that i was looking for info online
    so i find this for upgrade LG Display LP156WF1-TLB1 and my LCD panel is
    LG Display LP156WH4-TLA1 as you guys see they are kind of the same my question is is my LVDS cable able to support 2ch Or it is 1ch i can't find any info about that cable
    if you guys can help will be much appreciated

    Your laptop model was never offered with a FHD display, so chances are you only have a single lane LVDS cable, maybe the motherboard connector has provision for two channels, but only with some close up photos of the connector I can say you if there is some chance, then you need to find a cable with all the channels wired, that might be a bit more tricky, maybe its possible to use a cable from an N53, given that they are similiar-ish chassis from around the same time.

    Hi tnx for the replay
    So this model was never offer anything after 2011 that is the latest driver so when i was looking online it was saying max 4gb ram but i install 8gb my point is there is 0 info about this laptop it might work on 2ch it might not i was looking at LVDS cables and nowhere it says 2 channel so donno
