I recently bought the asus x555la-si30202g which came with 6gb of ram. I would like to uprade it to the max 12gb. The problem I am having is I am not sure how to open it to do so. The little door underneath that normally has a screw in it instead ha a black plug. I am leary of trying to pop it open and I do not know if I should remve all the bottom screws to take the whole bottom off. I hope someone reads this that has the same model or at least knows how I can get to the ram. Thanks and I hope to hear back soon.

You probably will have to remove the whole bottom panel. Can you provide a picture of the door underneath that you are reffing to as well as one of the whole bottom.
