    has anybody ever experiience this? trying to sell it but if i can fix it maybe i can get a better/quicker sale out of it being fixed. i dont think its a video card since when its hooked up to my lcd tv the colors are fine

    As far as i remember that is a dying / dead vga card. One way to tell is to run 3d mark. it will either fail or artifact througout

    how come its not affected when hooked up in an external monitor?

    can you try reseating the lcd data ribbon and inverter?

    Ah sorry i missed that. well that is good. these things have an inherent ability to fry the vga card. main problem is the thermal pads dry up and need to be replaced. you have to replace for .5mm pads not arctic silver paste.

    also its not like artifacting..its just like the colors are replaced

    try reseating the data ribbon on both ends. also try reseating the inverter. inverter should not cause the issue here but do it anyways just in case.
