I ordered fr buy.com and just received my Asus Eee PC 1000he this morning.

on the very 1st time use, the laptop can NOT be booted!!!! I plug it it, and there is no light either on the laptop or on the ac adapter..???
maybe the battery is not yet charged and there is the problem w the ac adapter i guess??

any idea please :( :( :( please tell me what should I do :( :(

It might say to let it charge all the way before turning it on (it did on my phone and mp3 players)

Make sure there is a good connection between the battery and the laptop, any bits of plastic or packing material.

The AC adapter doesn't have a light, but if it's plugged to your netbook, there should be an orange indicator light which signifies that the battery is charging. Try plugging in the adapter without the battery and see if it works that way. It might be a faulty battery.

Edit: didn't see your last post. Glad everything worked out :)
