    auto-run problems?

    does anyone have problems with CD/DVDs or softwares that are failing to auto run after inserting the disk?

    I have a U53J bamboo laptop.

    Tried searching around the net with no solution thus far.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Have you checked the autorun settings in windows first (control panel -> hardware and sound -> autoplay and choose reset all to default or choose w/e options you want), this seems more like a setting related problem than anything else.
