    average temprature of gpu?

    whats the acceptable average temp of 512 dedicated 512mb gpu...say after continuous 1 hour playing games like crysis?

    There is no "average" especially in an Asus machine. My temps go from 50-100+ C.

    will machine still running at 100c??!!...aint that consider overheating!

    I don't have an Asus, but my computer's GPU temps range from 60-97C. Average of about 85-91 depending on the angle of the computer.

    It really depends on the laptop and GPU model. My Toshiba's 3650M never really gets above 50C-60C, according to HWMonitor, but the GTX 260M in the G51 gets up to 90C, and in the G71, it gets even hotter than that.

    Ive had the GTX 260M up to 101C in Furmark.

    its ati 4570....notebook asus x85....i played crysis today for 1 hour on medium settings and at high resolution....and checked my gpu temp using everset its was 80 c...i find it kinda over since its only 1 hour....besides when idle its abt
    55 c and its high

    Yeah, it's not bad. But if you game a lot, or use this as a desktop replacement a lot of time, you might want to consider investing in a cooling pad (Notebook cooler for the Americans).

    I have hit 103 c playing ut3, it went fine

    but then I cleaned all the dust out of the g50 and the temps dropped significantly

    Those temps are OK for a laptop GPU.
    I have an ATI 4570 in a 13.3" and it gets (much) hotter than that...
