hello all, i am having some trouble with my asus g1s, and i am hoping to get some expert advise on this matter

the laptop is almost 2 years old
it all started last week, i always use my laptop with charger plugged and battery in place, but lately it started to show up an odd message, it says: plugged in, nut not charging. last week i manage to "fix" this problem, by re-plugging the charger. but lately it doesn't seem to work anymore.

even with laptop off, sometimes the battery won't charge, and instead of the laptop indicator light( red) been steady when charging, now it blinks alot, i wonder what does that mean.

and just now, i tried to use laptop plugged in, but without battery, i managed to use my laptop for 5 mins and then it turned off by itself, like if it was a power failure.

so if u please, could give me a heads up of what might be the problem, i am guessing i need a new charger, but not sure
