    hello there, i want to upgrade my g1s ram memory wich brand is better and wich one doesn´t have any problems when instaling? i want to buy one with 2 gb, so i will have 3gb on my laptop!
    i know that it must be ddr2 667 pc25300

    The major brands are corsair, ocz, kingston. Any of those would work just fine.

    I have the Corsair ValueSelect it's work very good in my G1S.

    one more thing, is it hard to find 2gb of ram on best buy, compusa or circuitcity? i culd only find centon and patriot on these stores.
    and here can i find intel turbo memory for in store pick up?

    one more thing, is it easy to find hitachi hard rives?

    you cant plug in the standard size turbo ram. it has to be half heigh module. most memory will work

    you can not use the standard intel turbo memory. for i.t.m. it has to be a special half height module for g1s.
    for main memory you can use pretty much any 667 so-dimm with a few exceptions. you probably will not find the exceptions so dont worry

    Why would you even need to get it? It has been shown to not effect performance at all.... Also order the RAM from newegg.com, the store prices are so jacked up....

    i would love to do it, but unfortunelly i live outside usa, and i will be there (in the us) for holidays, that´s why i need a place to get it, most online stores does not accept international credit card from banks outside usa
