    ive been looking at the zalman notebook cooler, but the only place i can find is newegg, where im not so thrilled about paying shipping + tax. circuit city doesn't have them in stock and most stores dont even carry it. any thoughts on notebook coolers for the g1s? are there any other ones that fit really well w/ the laptop?

    The zalman cooler is known as one of the best notebook coolers ;)
    Mine arrives next week (Tuesday or something)
    I will let you know how good he works

    I just ordered it in my local computer store here (I live in Belgium).
    But i ordered the black one, that's why i have to wait such a long time (only the silver one was in stock ;) )

    I just got the zalman cooler and was wondering what temps do people get with it and if they removed the tapes underneath the computer as well?

    I have the Zalman and am very happy with it. It's not needed at idle like when using basic apps like internet or burning disks but is deffinetely useful when gaming. I haven't yet benchmarked with and without it but I know it helps.
