    Hi,
I'm looking to get a W3V but can't seem to find any barebone/whitebox, only fully assembled. Where could I get this? Any recommended sites?

    Thanks,

I don't think they make them. I got my w3v from laptopextreme.com, they got the z63a which is like the W3V for pretty cheap.

You wont find a barebones w3v, its only sold as an ensemble. the z63a is the next closest, its identical except it has the intel gpu instead of the dedicated ati x600.
On the upside, with the new year and all the new models coming out, you should be able to find a nice deal on the w3v.

    Ok, good to know.

Well because here's the deal. My M6Ne broke... dead, died, finito! But the RAM, CPU and HD are still good so I'm just looking for another cheap barebone where I could reuse those parts. It doesn't even necessarily have to be Asus.

The RAM is DDR333 and the CPU is a P-M 725 (1.6Ghz). I know most of the newer Asus' won't even take my CPU or my RAM, so I'm sorta, kinda, ****ED.

Anyway, anyone have any recommendations for me?

    Thanks guys!
