i recently got my f8sv-a1 and i installed the forceware driver 169.04 for vista-32bit, this is my first laptop and my first time "tweaking" or overclocking.

With just the driver updated, i got a 3dmark of 1920,
with 169.09 driver, it was roughly the same 1900ish

my specifications are exactly the same as the f8sv benchmark topic ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=188724)
i even tried overclocking using rivatuner with no luck, still the 1900 3dmark score, i must be doing something wrong and i hope you guys can help me out

You might want to try reverting back to stock drivers. On the asus c90, the drivers from laptopvideo2go.com cause about a 40% hit in performance, and only the stock drivers seem to work.
