in bios i noticed that it only showed 1 hdd (instead of 2) and the cd drive under the "IDE" config, but yet in windows im able to see both, access it and use it as normal. now im wondering i i pressed something back when i first got it and was looking around. is it even something to worry about?

It's not one disk but with two partitions is it? Right click on 'My Computer' and select 'Computer Management' then 'Disk Management' you should be able to see the disk configuration there.

what ever was the issue it fixed it self, ya theres two physical hard drives but for some reason bios was only registering 1 of them, after i disabled the start post logo to see what the post read then went back into bios it saw both hard drives.
