is it possible to just buy the bluetooth for the z63a seperately? is the internal bluetooth just a bluetooth card?

It can be done, but it's quite time consuming.... there isn't an easy access door to do the install... basically the motherboard has to come out of the unit and that means that basically every screen that holds the system together (inside and out) need to be removed. It's a time consuming process, especially the first time..... and as an end user, you are going to be more carefull because you're going to be afraid of breaking parts and forgetting where things go.... On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most difficult, dangerous and just plain time consuming that you could be with your notebook.... this would be about an 8.

Z63a is really hard to disassemble. We charge a premium for the service. Takes 50 minutes or so round trip and thats if you already done it a few times. I would advise against user upgrade of bt module as well
