    Hello everybody,
Well after playing with my new w3v for a week and being very content with it I'm ready to break it by installing linux. Slight problem, I can't figure out how to get it to boot from CD. I went into the BIOS and the boot order suggests the removable drive (I assumed this was the DVD/CD) was in first place but it still just boots of the HD.

    Any suggestions?

    thanks
    Jeremy

Do you get a boot device menu when you press the Escape key during the initial boot (when the Asus logo is visible)?

    thank you!

btw. Knoppix detects everything first time on this machine... very handy to know when eventually it does break :)
